How do I vote in Tom Green County, Texas, in the November 3, 2026 election? Election day is Tuesday, November 3, 2026, and election-day polling places are open from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. The last day to register to vote is Monday, October 5, 2026. Early voting in person runs Monday, October 19 through Friday, October 30, at five places in San Angelo. A mail-ballot application must be received by Friday, October 23, 2026. On Election Day, a voter must vote in the precinct where they are registered, unless the countywide polling place program is being used.

Vote by mail
Voting by mail in Texas is limited to voters who are:
- 65 years of age or older on Election Day
- Sick or disabled
- Expecting to give birth within three weeks before or after Election Day
- Absent from the county of registration during the Early Voting period and on Election Day
- Civilly committed under Chapter 841 of the Texas Health and Safety Code
- Confined in jail, but otherwise eligible

What you see on the ballot
A voter sees only the races for the place where they live. Federal and statewide races are on the ballot for everyone in the county. A city, precinct, school, or special-district race is on the ballot only if that address is inside that city, precinct, school, or district.
